We have worked with nonprofit clients of all shapes and sizes in helping them achieve their goals. We understand that achieving and maintaining proper governance and safeguards is critical and draft nonprofit governance documents (i.e., bylaws, articles of incorporation, consents/resolutions, joint venture agreements, etc.) to meet these requirements.
Using our tax background, we frequently advise our nonprofit clients on the many complex IRS and Internal Revenue Code rules and regulations in maintaining or achieving tax-exempt status through IRS Form 1023 or otherwise. We work with our nonprofit clients by first understanding their mission and goals, and then developing a game plan to service their needs in an efficient and tax-focused manner.
